HOBART PLACE – MAIN CONTRACTING

1 Hobart place is a 8,000 sq ft Grade II listed stucco fronted early 19th Century house which was converted for office usage into a private bank including basement vault and safety deposit strong rooms in the 1960s.

PIN BLD were appointed as Main Contractor via a traditional lump sum contract and worked closely with the client and professional team in a collaborative open book approach to meet pre-agreed time and cost parameters which had to be met .

The project comprised the extensive refurbishment/restoration of the entire building including the complete renewal of MEPH systems, passenger lifts and replacement of all toilet /kitchen cores. Extensive roof repairs, facade repairs and re-decorations to all external areas including the reforming of a garden roof top terrace at the rear were also undertaken.
